Design preview. DexaFlow is not built yet. We are testing whether it solves a real problem, and we want to hear what is wrong with it. What is real today

What is real today

We are early, and here is exactly where

DexaFlow is a design preview. Some screens work on your phone. Some things are only drawn. Some are left out on purpose. We would rather you know that now than find out in a demo.

Status of each part

  • PreviewYou can click it in the design preview today.
  • DesignedPlanned and drawn, not built yet.
  • Out of scopeLeft out on purpose, for now.
  • Preview

Photo, voice note and tag capture

Works on a phone in the preview. Saved in the browser on that device only.

  • Preview

Review screen with an example shift

Fictional Vejle Plant 2 data. Anything you capture appears first in the list.

  • Preview

    FAT/SAT protocol PDF

Exports the example protocol. It does not include your own captures yet.

  • Designed

Opening the app with no signal

The preview needs a connection to load. Offline loading is planned.

  • Designed

    Voice-note transcription at the hotel

The preview stores text you type. Speech-to-text is planned.

  • Designed

Moving captures from phone to laptop

Today each device keeps its own captures.

  • Out of scope

Tag lookup from EPLAN or CAD files

Tags are plain text such as +CAB01-K1.

  • Out of scope

    Live PLC or fieldbus connection

DexaFlow documents what you found, not how the machine runs.

  • Out of scope

Public ticket links and client portals

Plant IT policies and NDAs block them. The deliverable is a PDF.

What we are trying to learn

We have not proved anyone needs this. These are the questions we want your real experience on. There are no wrong answers, and “this is not a problem for me” is a useful answer.

  1. When did you last rebuild a punch list after a shift, and how long did it take?
  2. What do you use today: WhatsApp, Excel, Word, or a commissioning app?
  3. Who asks for the document, and what must be in it for it to be accepted?
  4. Would you or your company pay for this? What would make it a clear yes or a clear no?
  5. What would stop you from using it on site?

Who is building it

DexaFlow is built by Ran Segoli, who has commissioned plant automation and is now building this alone. This page, the design preview and the interviews are all one person's work. There are no customers yet and no testimonials, because there is nothing to quote. When there are real ones, they will appear here with permission.

How we will use your feedback

  • It goes to one inbox and is read by the person building the product.
  • We will not quote you, or name you or your company, without asking first.
  • Please do not send confidential plant data. An anonymised example is plenty.
